Sitka Lodge was established on August 2, 1944, as a member lodge of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. Since inception our lodge has had several brick and morter locations. We took over our current location, the old city jail, in 1978. Since our beginning we have done much for the community of Sitka and we continue to do so.
